For our Client, an international company, we are currently looking for:
CORPORATE COMMUNICATION LEADER (CENTRAL EUROPE)
Your Role:You will be responsible for the execution of integrated communications strategies contributing to business growth; employee engagement and reputation management for the company. This includes the planning, writing and coordination of communications for a variety of internal and external audiences and monitoring and tackling issues/crisis situations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Tailoring and executing communication objectives/activities using the full mix of company corporate communication tools,
- Building and managing relationship with opinion leaders, including government authorities and employers trade associations,
- Providing counsel and support to company management and leaders,
- Providing news to corporate communications channels (external and internal),
- Monitoring media and acting as a key contact for journalists,
- Defining and targeting key press: dailies, science, business periodicals,
- Identifying and managing Media opportunities and events,
- Identifying issues, monitoring the environment and tackling as appropriate.
We require:
- University degree in communications preferably in: Corporate Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or comparable + min 5 years experience in similar job,
- Excellent written and oral skills in one Central European language (Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian) and in English,
- Experience in industrial affairs, working with trade associations, chambers, drafting industry action plans (political outreach communications) etc. is an advantage,
- Experience in issues and crisis communications is a plus,
- Strong Team player,
- Planning and organization skills,
- Multi tasking,
- Excellent interpersonal skills,
- Computer literacy is vital
