For our Client, leading global pharmaceutical company, we are looking for the candidate for the position of:

MEDICAL & SCIENTIFIC RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE VACCINES


MISSION:

This position acts as a medical and scientific representative of the company. The role and the key responsibilities include delivering high level medical and scientific expertise to internal and external stakeholders, medical to medical communication, opinion leader management, field force training and scientific presentation to physicians for the related product(s). This position will be responsible for the whole of Poland.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interactions with opinion leaders (medical to medical communication)
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with external opinion leaders to facilitate scientific exchange and peer-to-peer discussion with the external experts
  • Establish partnerships with medical societies 
  • Organize/prepare medical education events for the scientific community according to the company’s strategy
  • Participate and interact with Healthcare Professional in local, regional, national scientific  meetings, as well as in “advisory boards” and “speakers training” or other meetings involving opinion leaders
  • Support scientific projects in accordance with company policy
  • Evaluates and approves promotional materials, labelling. Advises on strategy against competitors’ materials, publications
  •  Provides medical input to marketing strategies (strategies &operating plans, POA development)  and to external activities (advisory boards), selects relevant data, publications needed for marketing purposes
  • Understanding medical needs of physicians via face to face discussions
  • Publications support
  • Field Force training
  • Identify the additional training needs and enhance knowledge of sales representatives with up-to-date medical data
  • Provide trainings in the related therapeutic area
  • Support product strategies by providing information based on the field experiences 
  • Input to the medical plan. 
  • Local / Regional Advisory Boards support
  • Cooperation with patients’ associations
  • Other tasks commissioned by Supervisor

TRAINING AND EDUCATION:

  • Preferred: medical doctor degree. Medical specialization and/or PhD will be an additional asset. Required: Life science (pharmacy, biology or similar) education background. Scientific and/or educational experience would be an additional asset.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  • Ideal candidates will have experience and demonstrated success in the following:clinical/scientific experience mixed with experience in the related business such as medical manager, advisor or liaison

SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze scientific data and generate outcomes
  • Customer Focus (Capable of working with external stakeholders)
  • Teamwork (Capable of working with internal stakeholders)
  • Ability to set and execute tasks and priorities
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Able to travel extensively
  • Fluency in English
  • Driving license
