National Sales Manager Seeds & Traits

Main purpose of the job:

The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading the business growth and delivering commercial and operational results in line with Business Conduct and within allocated resources for Seeds and Traits; leading and developing sales organization and interacting with other partner functions; delivering Sales, Commercial EBIT and developing people.


- Lead country organization to achieve business goals
- Lead implementation of the strategy and tactical plans to achieve LRP/Budget objectives
- Lead and develop the Sales Team
- Build strong relationship and partnership with key customers and external stakeholders in order to size opportunities and accelerate the growth
- Provide and share data-driven competitive and market intelligence


- University degree ( Business preferably, Agruculture is a plus)
- Significant frontline sales background
- Channel management experience
- Profit and loss management knowledge and experience
- Team management experience – min 3 years
- Work experience of 5-7 years.
- Negotiating with large accounts or/and key partners
- Operating in high pressure and competitive market
- Delivering on multiple complex plans in a dynamically changing envirovment
- Cross functional background (mktg/ finance ..) is a plus
- Knowledge of the products and industries in which the company operates is a plus
- Strong and proven leadership skills
- Ability to create a vision and long term business strategy
- Understand drivers for P&L and financial impact of actions
