QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging process results
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

REQUIREMENTS:

Software to test is written in: Front-End: Angular 8, TypeScript, SCSS ; Back-End: Serverless and Java ; Mobile: Ionic and native ; Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Continuous Integration and Deployment on Jenkins / Code-Build ; Tests to perform: o Automated o Manual ; No initial requirement for testing framework. g. Proficiency in Cypress is a plus
2 years of experience with testing web applications
Strong knowledge in scenario development and test automation.
Independent and a source of proposals and inspiration.
Pay great attention to detail.
Some system admin and scripting skills would be appreciated
Being ready to travel few times a year for planning sessions (2-5 days)
English level - B2
Independent and self-confident
Work well in a remote team
